A Case of Synovial Sarcoma

Abstract

|
|
A case of synovial sarcoma arising from the right knee joint is reported. The patient, 21 yearsold male, was admitted with complaints of the limitation of the right knee joint motion due to the tumor masses. The patient noticed painless swelling localized on the anterior aspect of the right knee and the the upper one-third portion of anterior aspect of right. tibia about 1 5/12 years ago. X-ray revealed non-lobulated, non-nodular so-called "water-density" on anterior aspect of the knee joint. It was diagnosed as synovial. sarcoma and was comfirmed by the biospy. The patient denied the operative procedure and expired on 50 days after the discharge against advise.
